Compassionate Funerals are commited to providing bespoke funeral services to the bereaved.

Our team of Funeral Directors in London are here to help you navigate the process of creating and arranging a service that reflects the character, values, and beliefs of the person who has died.

We welcome all enquiries, whether it’s a grand traditional funeral with top hat and tails, or an intimate graveside service at a peaceful woodland burial ground.

Meet Our Team

Allistair Anderson

I’ve served in the funeral industry for more than three decades. I’ve been in many roles, working for local independents to larger national funeral directors, crematoria, and cemeteries.  

Through these years, I’ve recognised the value of funerals that reflect the life, values and character of the person who has died. So, in 2012 I started Compassionate Funerals to achieve this.

I regard this as the highest honour to be able to serve you at one of the most difficult moments in your life.

I aim to help you understand your choices, giving you greater control, enabling you to have a service that has meaning; whether it be a simple service, a religious ceremony or an elaborate celebration of life.

Felicity Douglas

I joined the team at Compassionate Funerals during the COVID 19 pandemic working with families during these extremely difficult times. 

I take care of the office duties of the business and work closely with the families  we serve. I support them whether that be as part of the Funeral Team, Conducting or Leading a service.

I came from a Corporate background having held a successful career in Human Resource Management.

Working in the funeral Industry wasn’t something I had planned, but I love the connection and creative process that’s involved in crafting a personal and meaningful funeral and can’t imagine doing anything else now.
