OPEN THE CONVERSATION AROUND DEATH, DYING, AND BEREAVEMENT

PROJECTS WE ARE INVOLVED IN

Working as a key partner with Redbridge Libraries and as part of the Dying Matters festival, we are proud to host regular Death Cafés at the various library locations.

Whether you’ve experienced the loss of a loved one, want to share your perceptions on the concept of finite endings, or want to celebrate life and living, come and join us for inspiring, supportive, and life-affirming discussions in a relaxed setting and over tea and cake.

We are always happy to come and talk about any aspect of the funeral industry you would like more information about.

TRAINING FOR CARE HOME STAFF

With around 100,000 people dying in care homes annually (Office of National Statistics), dealing with end-of-life care and death is inevitably part of the job of being a care worker. But despite the natural bonds often forged between them and their clients, training, guidance and support is not

only arranging a funeral, but coping with their own sense of loss, is often absent. Our training programme mobilises care home staff to work as an in-built support unit for individual team members, equipped with the knowledge and access to information they need to give their clients and themselves, the care they need after death.
